Safety First

Every River and Imagine pool we build can be made automatic-cover ready — including the freeform shapes, not just the rectangles. A cover does more than add a layer of safety: for New England families, it holds heat in through cool nights and keeps leaves and debris out all fall. NZD Pools installs Integra automatic pool covers, available in a range of colors to complement any design palette. Our covers meet the ASTM F1346 safety standard.*

*ASTM F1346 is the national safety standard for pool covers. To meet it, a closed cover has to support about 485 pounds — two adults and a child — so someone can walk out onto it to reach a child who has fallen on top, and it has to seal tightly enough that a child can't slip underneath. Because of that, a compliant cover can serve as a pool safety barrier. Massachusetts fencing requirements are enforced town by town, so confirm with your local building department before planning around it.

Fits Any Shape

Automatic covers used to mean a rectangle. Integra's don't — they work on rectangular, square, and freeform pools alike, so the shape you actually want doesn't decide whether you can have a cover on it.

Colors

Available in a range of colors chosen to sit quietly against your deck and coping rather than announce themselves. We'll walk through the options during design.
